Case Study: Vent Pipe Filter's Aesthetics Fit Landscaping
The Dirty Bird vent pipe filter blends in with landscaping while controlling septic odors.

A Massachusetts homeowner spent thousands on a new porch and landscaping, only to have a 3-foot-tall vent pipe next to the porch in the middle of the landscaping. Traditional vent filters only address the odor problem, but typically do not address the aesthetics.

Kevin Orlando from All Season Septic was scheduled to pump the system, and the homeowner approached him with this problem. Orlando suggested the Dirty Bird vent pipe filter. The unit not only addresses odor problem with its included charcoal filter, but comes in three colors to match landscape décor and fit into the landscape as a common yard ornament — a pedestal/birdbath.

The homeowner was grateful for the simple solution. Now they have a focal point instead of an eyesore. Guests don’t even realize they have a vent in the yard, and Orlando can service the charcoal filter when he makes regular visits to pump the septic system. 866/968-9668;
