Draincables Direct will manufacture all Erickson hand tools and toilet augers at its Millbury, Ohio, facility. Additionally, Draincables Direct will stock the full Erickson product line in the Ohio and New York Draincables Direct sales centers.

The partnership creates a wider selection of products to eliminate multiple purchase orders, credit card transactions and shipping charges.

T&S Brass and Bronze Works chosen Manufacturer of Year

Plumbing products manufacturer and distributor T&S Brass and Bronze Works was named the 2015 Manufacturer of the Year (small/midsize category) by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

“The Theisen family moved their commercial food service and plumbing manufacturing facility to Travelers Rest in 1978 and, through the hard work and dedication of a great group of people, the company has developed into one of the premier manufacturing companies in the state,” said Operations Manager Gary Cole in accepting the Palmetto Vision Award.

“This award is not due to the effort of a small group of individuals. There is a team of 270 dedicated, hardworking, proud South Carolinians in the thriving metropolis of Travelers Rest who are deserving of all the credit,” he said.

Award criteria includes quality improvements, quality of life, environmental stewardship, community professional involvement, economic development and education and workforce development.

“The System Design Showcase has always been about highlighting innovation and foresight,” says Mark Eatherton, RPA executive director. “By inviting a wider range of entries, the RPA hopes to share with the entire construction industry some of the groundbreaking work being produced by those designing and installing these cutting-edge radiant and hydronics systems.”

Competition categories are: New or Retrofit Residential; New or Retrofit Commercial; Snow/Ice Melting; Electric; Innovation, and Residential or Commercial Radiant Cooling.
