MyTana’s LD40 Leak Detector detects and amplifies hissing, trickling and other sounds commonly found in plumbing and sewer environments, as it filters out other noises. The hand-held control lets you switch between five frequency bands and adjust gain so you can pinpoint the location of the leak, while the easy-to-understand response meter verifies what you are hearing in real time.

The LD40 works on all materials, so it’s excellent at detecting slab leaks, such as those caused by corroded pipes in a foundation or burst pipes. Four sensor tips are provided for use on different surfaces, including detecting through carpeting. A probe unit detects leaks in overhead pipes, behind walls or in tight spaces.
