NASTT offers multiple in-depth, high-quality training courses each year in-person in cities throughout North America as well as a virtual webinar format covering targeted trenchless topics, such as CIPP, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), pipe bursting, laterals, and new installation methods. They strive to produce high quality course content that is peer reviewed for noncommercialized, consensus-based information.

NASTT’s CIPP Good Practices Guidelines book and course training materials began their development in 2004. Installation methodologies, tube and resin systems, engineering methodologies, and technologies have advanced over the past several years, and significant updates were made so that the book and course materials were current and relevant. The second edition is coming in 2026!

The all-new NASTT CIPP Good Practices Course provides a comprehensive overview of gravity sewer CIPP rehabilitation from planning, through design, project implementation, and verification. It also provides an overview of CIPP in pressure applications and in sewer lateral programs. Major updates in design include both the most current ASTM F1216- Appendix X1 releases, ASCE MOP 145 and an overview of the soon to be released AWWA Design Appendices for Pressure Pipe Design of CIPP. Other enhancements include environmental and safety aspects of CIPP, include the latest research on VOC management.

A Global Hub for Trenchless Professionals

Organized by the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT), the No-Dig Show is recognized as the largest trenchless-focused conference and exhibition in the world. Whether your expertise is in horizontal directional drilling, cured-in-place pipe, utility locating, or pipeline asset management, the event brings together all corners of the industry under one roof. Over three days of technical sessions, attendees will explore the latest techniques, best practices and emerging technologies, while learning practical strategies to apply directly in the field. Municipal leaders, engineers, contractors and manufacturers alike gain insights that can transform the way they approach underground infrastructure projects.

Hands-On Learning and Professional Growth

Education remains a cornerstone of the No-Dig Show. A series of NASTT Good Practices Courses, led by trenchless experts, offers deep dives into advanced methods and innovations. These sessions provide participants with opportunities to refine skills, explore new approaches, and earn continuing education units. The courses go beyond surface-level theory, allowing attendees to engage with practical applications and real-world case studies. Professional development at the No-Dig Show ensures that both newcomers and seasoned veterans leave better equipped to tackle today’s evolving challenges.

The suite of NASTT training courses, both the 4-hour Intro to New Installation and Intro to Rehabilitation Courses as well as the 8-hour courses, including CIPP, will be available in-person in Palm Springs and virtually throughout the year.
