Javier Alarcón named VP of finance at GF

GF announced Javier Alarcón as its new vice president of finance for GF Building Flow Solutions Americas. In this role, Alarcón will oversee all aspects of finance and accounting. He will report to GF Building Flow Solutions Americas President John Reutter, who previously served as the vice president of finance and held the role in an interim capacity. Alarcón will be a key member of the company’s Senior Management Committee. He brings over 25 years’ global finance leadership experience and operational excellence to organizations across the financial services, food, agriculture and manufacturing industries. 


ThermOmegaTech’s plumbing division announces new roles

ThermOmegaTech announced changes in its commercial plumbing team. Josue Vazquez will now serve as commercial plumbing national sales manager, overseeing sales in the United States and Canada. His expertise in centralized domestic water systems and balancing methods supports engineers and contractors throughout the eastern United States and the Greater Toronto area and Quebec. Daniel Kovac is stepping into the role of commercial plumbing business unit manager, responsible for sales performance, profitability and the strategic direction of the division. He will lead cross-functional teams and manage daily operations to achieve financial and operational goals while also guiding national account initiatives.


PHCC launches Visionary Peer Groups for business owners

The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association unveiled its new Visionary Peer Groups — a collaborative, coach-facilitated community designed to help plumbing, heating and cooling service and repair business owners and general managers to navigate challenges, grow their operations and enhance profitability. Members who have signed up will be invited to join small, focused peer groups (capped at 15 participants) that meet monthly via Zoom for an hour to 60 to 90 minutes. These sessions will be led by experienced business coaches and structured to foster idea-sharing, problem-solving, accountability and strategic planning.


Bryce Koch to lead mSupply’s digital platforms

St. Louis, Missouri-based mSupply shared that Bryce Koch has joined its team as senior vice president of digital innovation. Koch brings nearly 20 years’ experience to the role, which was created to boost technology and e-commerce efforts at mSupply. He will focus on the distributor’s digital ecosystem while providing strategic, customer-first direction for its marketing and e-commerce teams. Koch joins mSupply from Ferguson Enterprises where he led a number of initiatives including plumbing and merchandising efforts. Most recently, he served as vice president of digital commerce, working to modernize digital platforms for the distributor’s omni-channel business.
