Ashland Pump recently acquired Water Source, LLC, a supplier of accessories and pumps for the sump, sewage and water systems markets.
Water Source, LLC is currently located in Norwalk, Ohio, and will soon be relocating to its parent company’s Ashland, Ohio, facilities. Key staff will remain with the company. The acquisition offers many synergies within existing brands and channels. It will also allow Ashland Pump to offer customers a more complete line of products.
Along with the acquisition, the company is also changing its corporate name to Ashland Water Group, Inc. effective Jan. 1. The company operates in many channels, with brand-specific products supporting those channels. The name change will allow the company to continue to add additional brands in the future.
