In this video from the 2022 WWETT Show, Jerry Bartucciotto of EPL Solutions demonstrates the company’s SpeedCut, a high-speed chain cutter for cleaning, descaling and prepping 2- to 6-inch pipe.
The tool features a quick-connect coupler, allowing it to be used on a drill chuck for working in tight spaces or otherwise with EPL Solutions’ newly designed 2 hp DC brushless motor with a simple foot pedal operation. Another key benefit is that it can achieve as high as 3,200 rpm on less than 15 amps.
“You don’t need a generator,” Bartucciotto says. “You can plug into any residential or commercial building and not worry about popping any breakers and continually running.”
