In this video from the Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport (WWETT) Show, Dave Dunbar of General Pipe Cleaners talks about the company’s lightweight, compact JM-1000 Mini-Jet. The machine features 1,500 psi of cleaning power, yet weighs only 23 pounds. It can clear grease, sand and ice from 1 1/2- to 3-inch lines.

“We’re finding that 50% to 75% of the grease that’s gumming up today’s world is within about 10 to 15 feet of the kitchen sink, down the drain,” Dunbar says. “So with this thing, it makes it very portable. Just pick it up, put it underneath the sink, take the trap off, hook up a water supply — you can be done before you’d get the chance to get one of our larger jetters in position.

“So we say small is the next big thing when it comes to jetters.”
