If copper has worked for 50-plus years for a homeowner, why fix it? This was not the case for this job. The water in this area is extremely hard and was eating away at the homeowner’s copper pipes, creating numerous pinhole leaks. Will the PEX last as long as the copper? Check back in another 50 years!
