When it comes to faucet replacements, sometimes you’ve got to get creative. In a recent project, @theplumbersplunger shows us how it’s done by drilling a larger hole through the countertop to make way for the customer’s new faucet. He uses Oatey’s stain-free plumber’s putty in a unique way — forming a border around the drill site to contain any water.
To keep things mess-free, he blocks off the drain with a paper towel to prevent dust and debris from sneaking down. Have you ever tried this technique?
