After seven years in admin, she decided sitting at a desk wasn’t for her. Now, as a plumbing apprentice, she’s earning around $1,000 a week and loving the active, hands-on work.
She shared that the job keeps her busy and constantly moving. What’s more, she’s found that people are supportive of women in the trades. For her, one of the best parts of plumbing is meeting people every day.
Her next goal? Becoming a tradesman. It’s proof that with a little courage and determination, anyone can find a fulfilling career path — even in unexpected places.
