LevTech’s Mad Dog 8 level wins innovation award
LevTech’s Mag Dog 8 conduit bending level has been awarded the 2025 Pro Tool Innovation Award. This marks the 13th year of the annual PTIA, a competitive event that highlights the best tools and products across the professional trades and DIY industries. The 2025 Pro Tool Innovation Awards saw nearly 400 entries from almost 100 brands in more than a dozen categories. These entries were reviewed and evaluated by a panel of experts, professionals and industry veterans.
SJE acquires AMI Global
SJE announced the acquisition of AMI Global from Cimbria Capital. With the combined capabilities, SJE expects to accelerate the delivery of advanced cloud connected opportunities and offer its customers a comprehensive platform of remote monitoring solutions. Founded in 2009, AMI Global delivers simple, cost-effective and scalable cloud solutions for industrial equipment manufacturers. The AMI global acquisition represents SJE’s sixth since 2021 and first in 2025.
Rilla and Neighborly combine forces to utilize AI coaching software
Rilla, an AI coaching platform for in-person sales, has collaborated with Neighborly home services company. Since launch, Rilla has rolled out across more than 500 Neighborly franchise locations, equipping over 2,000 service professionals with real-time coaching tools to improve performance and consistency. Using Rilla’s proprietary AI, conversations with customers are automatically transcribed and analyzed, generating insights that empower Neighborly’s sales managers to coach service professionals more effectively and at scale. So far, Neighborly has captured and analyzed over 375,000 customer conversations with Rilla, driving thousands of targeted coaching moments and fueling nearly 4,000 hours of coaching.
Rinnai America appoints new VP of finance, opens Canadian warehouse
Rinnai America announced that Craig Bryan was recently appointed vice president of finance and a new member of the company’s executive leadership team. In his new position, Bryan leads the company’s finance organization overseeing and providing strategic direction for accounting and financial planning and analysis across North America. With over 25 years of financial leadership positions, he previously worked with a variety of organizations including Procter & Gamble, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Reily Foods Company and Laitram. Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and earned his MBA from Indiana University.
Rinnai also announced it has expanded its North American distribution network with its first warehouse in Canada. Effective immediately, Rinnai products will be stocked and shipped from a new distribution center in Markham, Ontario, improving access for distribution partners and PROs across the greater Toronto area and surrounding regions.
Viega’s Ohio manufacturing facility earns LEED Gold status
Viega North America, a subsidiary of the Viega Group, announced its new manufacturing facility in Mantua, Ohio, has officially earned LEED Gold certification. Succeeding the plant’s official opening in September, the certification recognizes its sustainable design, energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
Josh Brodsky named new regional sales manager at J.C. Whitlam
J.C. Whitlam Manufacturing has appointed Josh Brodsky as eastern regional sales manager. Based in Demarest, New Jersey, Brodsky brings more than 20 years’ experience in sales leadership, business development and market expansion across the plumbing, hardware and building materials industries. He has held senior leadership positions with SiteOne Landscape Supply and SCHOTT North America, where he successfully directed regional, national, and international sales operations, implemented strategic growth initiatives, and developed strong, lasting customer relationships.
