Milwaukee Tool opens office in Chicago
Milwaukee Tool opened a new office in Chicago. The location will serve as an engineering design and innovation space to accommodate the company’s continued investments in new technology. Over the last decade the company has experienced double-digit growth globally and currently employs more than 10,000 people in the U.S. Chicago’s pool of technical talent is one of many reasons Milwaukee chose to expand to the city.
Liberty Pumps building new material handling center
Liberty Pumps announced its new material handling center is under construction and on track to be completed by the end of 2022. The 107,000-square-foot expansion will house both raw and finished component inventory, and allow for more efficient tracking and flow of components to manufacturing. The expansion will also allow for additional manufacturing space in Liberty’s current building when material storage is moved over to the new facility.
Watts introduces new senior product manager
Steve Hocurscak has joined Watts as senior product manager, regulators and automatic control valves. He brings extensive experience in product management for large product portfolios across several industrial verticals. He previously worked in leadership level product and business management roles for valve companies, such as Metso and Neles.
SJE names new chief information officer
SJE announced Tim Fowler has joined its leadership team as chief information officer, a new position for the company that will oversee IT initiatives and the current IT team. He will be based out of the SJE location in Plymouth, Minnesota. Before joining SJE, Fowler held a series of vice presidential and divisional CIO roles at Polaris Industries.
