Mini Copper Tubing Cutters from Milwaukee Tool, available in 1/2- and 1-inch sizes, along with the 1 1/2-inch Constant Swing Copper Tubing Cutter, feature a long-life adjustment mechanism, rust-resistant chrome rollers and easy-grip knob for better leverage during adjustment.

The Constant Swing Copper Tubing Cutter has four rust-resistant chrome rollers that stabilize material to deliver straighter, cleaner cuts. A smooth-adjustment knob helps users make easier adjustments throughout the job and also allows for storage of an extra cutting wheel.  An onboard reamer allows easy deburring for improved productivity.

A Reaming Pen is also available for easy deburring of copper tubing and PVC. The tool is constructed with an all-metal design for durability through demanding job site use. The blade is heat treated and black oxide coated for extended life. A slide-resistant clip allows easy storage in the users pocket or tool bag for quick access.

With the introduction of the Copper Tubing Cutters, Milwaukee Tool demonstrates its commitment to delivering hand tool solutions that increase productivity and are built to withstand even the toughest job sites. With a base of tools already used by plumbers and HVAC professionals, and the launch of several game-changing solutions in 2016, Milwaukee will continue to build upon this commitment by providing a complete plumbing lineup to solve key user frustrations. 800/729-3878;

Link Manufacturing 180-degree swivel ramp

The 180-degree, aluminum swivel ramp from Link Manufacturing is designed for cargo van and box truck applications. Available for bi-fold ramps in 30-, 36- and 47-inch widths and 99-, 108- and 117-inch lengths, they provide up to 1,500 pounds of loading capacity.

The ramp mounts in the rear stored position like a traditional folding ramp, but can also be stored inside, behind the wheel well — providing options for those times when a loading ramp isn’t needed. When not in use for loading or unloading, it rotates outside of the vehicle for unobstructed access.

The primary latching module can be easily removed to provide open floor space for loading and transporting oversized cargo. Additionally, the quick-release lever enables the ramp to be unlatched when stored in the wheel well position, without requiring users to bend, lift or enter the vehicle.

“The Swivel Ramp marks Link’s first new ramp product in several years,” says Michael Hof, vice president of sales and marketing at Link. “We are very excited to offer a product that lets drivers work smarter. Our traditional mounted ramps offer some of the best durability and safety measures in the industry, but provide limited versatility for users that transport diverse types of cargo. With the new Swivel Ramp, fleets can efficiently adapt to the loading demands of individual payloads.”  800/248-3057;

Coxreels inline swivels with multi-lobe seals

Nitrile 1.5- and 2-inch inline swivels from Coxreels feature multi-lobe sealing technology. The enhanced seals are designed to maximize seal integrity, improve overall seal performance and maximize seal life. In-depth testing has shown that the performance of the multi-lobe seals exceeds that of the standard O-ring, cup and T-seals for large capacity fluid handling and high volume delivery in both high and low pressure applications. Additionally, the new seal geometry has a better resistance to compression set, a leading cause of premature seal failure. 800/269-7335;

Ditch Witch OptiCut digging system

The OptiCut digging system from Ditch Witch, a Charles Machine Works Company, is designed to enhance walk-behind trencher productivity in all soil conditions.

The all-in-one chain design features integrated tooth technology to ease operator maintenance. The design matches the life of the chain by eliminating one-by-one tooth replacement and associated replacement costs for reduced maintenance downtime.

“Our customers continuously drive us to break new ground. Opticut was designed with a clear focus on their needs, uptime, productivity and profitability,” says Steve Seabolt, product manager, service parts, the Ditch Witch organization. “We challenged our engineering teams to maintain product integrity while significantly reducing cost, and the OptiCut exceeded expectations with an innovative, productive and durable design that saves customers time and money.”

Made for depths up to 36 inches deep and 3.5 inches wide, the OptiCut digging system uses a low-profile tooth design for a smoother cut with less wear on the chain. Available tooth configurations include a 4-pitch DuraTooth, a 2-pitch Shark and a 2-pitch DuraTooth/Shark combination.

The OptiCut digging system is compatible with the new Ditch Witch C12, C14, C16, C16X, C24X and C30X walk-behind trenchers, but can be adapted to other makes and models through the use of a special conversion sprocket. 800/654-6481;

Isuzu 4-cylinder medium-duty truck

The 2018 FTR Class 6 medium-duty truck from Isuzu Commercial Truck of America is powered by Isuzu’s 4HK1-TC 5.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine.

“This truck represents our vision of the future of the medium-duty truck industry,” says Shaun Skinner, executive vice president and general manager of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America. “As fuel economy and emissions regulations become stricter, you’re going to see more and more competitors in this class turning to four-cylinder engines.”

Although horsepower and torque ratings have not been finalized, the power plant will be mated to an Allison 2000 Series automatic transmission. The engine carries a B10 durability of 310,000 miles (90 percent of engines should reach that mileage before requiring an overhaul).

Eight wheelbase configurations will accommodate bodies from 16 to 30 feet, allowing for a wide variety of body applications.

The all-new cab features a clean back-of-cab design that can provide more space for body applications compared to the previous F-Series truck.

Like all Isuzu trucks, the FTR will feature a low-cab-forward design that increases visibility and markedly improves maneuverability.

The FTR cab’s wide step and wide-opening doors allow easy entry to the spacious interior, which features three-across seating and extra space for storage behind the seats.

Additional interior amenities include a side under safety mirror, overhead console and a suspension driver’s seat with armrest specially designed to increase comfort and reduce driver fatigue.

The F-Series truck is scheduled to go into production in the United States in mid-2017. 866/441-9638;
