The custom Pickup Pack truck bed organizer from Highway Products provides easy access to lockable tool storage. Features include two full-length sideboxes with removable trays and flat or 4-inch domed center hatch for added vertical storage, headache rack, removable ladder rack and front gull-wing toolbox. When closed, the hatch locks the tailgate, leaving the truck bed weather resistant.

An alternative to cargo vans and service bodies, the organizer allows you to better utilize the space in your pickup truck bed, says Mike Williams, sales manager with Highway Products.

“It’s designed to be flexible,” he says. “Some people, if they have a shorter bed, they just want the long sideboxes and the hatch; they don’t want the toolbox in the front. You can adjust the amount of features to your exact needs.”

Made of marine-grade aluminum, the organizer fits all makes and models of trucks, including 4x4s, both foreign and domestic, and installs in two to four hours. The hatch can be removed in about five minutes to accommodate taller items. For added capacity, the sliding Roller Coaster cargo tray holds up to 2,000 pounds (4,000 available).

“As a plumber, if you’re carrying a lot of fittings that you want to neatly stack, the tray makes a lot of sense,” he says. “You pull it out and have easy access to what you need.”

The tray can also serve as a temporary workstation. The truck bed organizer is available in a choice of colors and finishes, including diamond-plate aluminum, powder coat, spotted leopard and a raised dimple Gladiator look. 800/866-5269; www.800toolbox.com.
