Oatey promotes Kelsey McMillan to vice president, Cherne Global

Oatey announced that Kelsey McMillan has been promoted to vice president, Cherne Global. Part of the Oatey family of companies, Cherne manufactures pipe plugs and testing equipment for residential, commercial, industrial and municipal piping systems. McMillan joined Oatey seven years ago as retail national sales manager before transitioning to the international team. There, she served as international sales manager and later as director of international business development. She subsequently took on the role of director of strategic initiatives where she played a key role in developing the company’s multiyear strategic roadmap.

In her new role, McMillan will lead the company’s Cherne business activities around the globe, overseeing several functions across the business.


C.H. Hanson purchases assets of EasyCAM

C.H. Hanson announced that it has purchased the assets of EasyCAM, a provider of professional sewer camera solutions. The EasyCAM product line will become part of the Superior Tool brand portfolio, expanding Superior Tool’s scope to include diagnostic solutions that help professionals identify issues accurately before work begins. Founded in 2007 by a plumber for plumbers, EasyCAM has built a reputation for practical, durable CCTV-based sewer camera systems. The cameras feature a modular, owner-repairable design that minimizes downtime and reduces costly repairs, along with cordless operation delivering 10-12 hours of runtime on a single charge.

PHCC expands online training catalogue through PHCC Academy

The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association Educational Foundation has expanded its online training catalogue to enhance crucial communication and sales skills that will help build high-performance individuals and fuel business growth. The new p-h-c industry courses are offered through the PHCC Academy, and made available in partnership with ServiceSkills and the Quality Service Contractors group. The licensed ServiceSkills courses are short, focused lessons with interactive video training on real-world applications. There are three different options available based on industry roles: technicians/apprentices, human resources/leadership and administrative/office staff. In addition, the foundation has also adapted QSC’s “Seal the Deal” in-person course, launching as a self-paced online course.


New AquaMotion sales rep for Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi

Jimmy Curry, president of N2 Sales has been appointed as a stocking rep for AquaMotion in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. The company will offer AquaMotion’s hot water recirculation kits, stainless pumps and pressure boosters in addition to the other lines he represents. AquaMotion offers 30 kits for under-sink, single pipe, dedicated return line, outdoor pump for tankless heaters and a complete line of on-demand controls, including an app to schedule a program.
