Early bird pricing deadlines are approaching for the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials’ Annual Education and Business Conference.

It’s the 90th year for the conference, which is scheduled for Sept. 22-26 at the Silver Legacy Hotel in Reno, Nevada. This year’s event is also occurring alongside ASSE International’s annual conference.

“There is really no more important, enjoyable, productive, and meaningful event on the IAPMO calendar each year,” says David Straub, IAPMO president. “The first thing is the people. You meet so many, and they’re nice, friendly, and always curious to know about you and what you do in your area. The contacts you make at an IAPMO conference benefit you for the rest of your career and the friendships last even longer. Then there are the educational sessions. I attend them every year. We have incredible instructors, who always do a great job in their 90-minute sessions. These are beneficial to so many, especially a young person just getting familiar with the codes. Add in great keynote speakers, the business meetings, code development, fun outings and dinners. It is a very educational experience and a lot of fun. This year’s event will be co-located with ASSE International’s annual conference, bringing even more top-notch industry professionals together.”

“Co-locating the meetings allows us  a chance to network with those responsible for enforcing our numerous standards and professional qualifications,” says John Parizek, ASSE International president.

Early bird pricing for attendees ($575 for members and $670 for nonmembers) ends Aug. 23. Registrations after that date increase to $645 for members and $750 for nonmembers. Single day passes are also available, as well as different pricing for doing a joint IAPMO/ASSE registration or only ASSE International events.

Exhibitor space is available on a first come, first served basis with preference given to those who register before July 26. The reduced booth space rate of $725 also ends that date, and increases to $775 if paid after July 26.
