Neighborly welcomes Roger Chacko as new officer
Neighborly appointed Roger Chacko as its new chief strategy and marketing officer. Chacko brings over 25 years of global brand building, corporate strategy and growth catalyst experience. Immediately prior to joining Neighborly, Chacko served fitness chain Planet Fitness as its chief commercial officer. Chacko earned his doctorate in management from Oklahoma State University and his master’s degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ranger Design announces new members of leadership team
Joey Trombino joined Ranger Design and will replace Eric Pesenti as the new chief financial officer. Trombino has 30 years’ experience in the financial and accounting fields, and has worked in different sectors, including manufacturing, software and mining. Pesenti will stay with Ranger Design in other capacities. With 18 years’ experience in operational and strategic initiatives to enhance revenue growth, Catalin Caracas was named vice president of operations and human resources.

Champion Plumbing announces NuFlow partnership
Champion Plumbing announced an exclusive partnership with NuFlow Technologies and will be the only certified NuFlow installer and distributor in Oklahoma. Champion Plumbing planned to have three NuFlow-certified technicians available by the end of March 2021.

Goulds Water Technology introduces virtual training tool
Goulds Water Technology, a Xylem brand, has launched the V.A.R.I. Challenge, an online tool for industry professionals to properly and safely use a digital multimeter to troubleshoot pump systems. Set up in a gamified format, users of the V.A.R.I. Challenge use a digital multimeter to test the voltage, amperage, resistance and insulation of the brand’s Aquavar SOLO2 variable frequency drive performance, enabling users to advance from level to level. Users are timed throughout the challenge and receive points for accuracy of responses. Upon completion of the challenge, users can see where they stack up on the V.A.R.I. Challenge leaderboard. Additional features and resources are integrated throughout the interactive tool, which include links to Goulds Water Technology service manuals and video tips for each level.

Asahi/America welcomes new operations VP
Asahi/America announced the addition of Andrew Meschisen to its executive management team. Meschisen joined Asahi/America as vice president of operations and materials where he will oversee the company’s operations and manufacturing, materials and supply chain, quality assurance, warehousing and facility maintenance.

Shannon Yancey named a Caleffi sales manager
Caleffi North America announced its new regional sales manager, Shannon Yancey. Yancey will focus on the Southwest U.S. sales region and is based in Houston. She has worked in the heating, cooling, refrigeration and plumbing industries for over 20 years, and serves as the membership committee co-chair for the Houston ASHRAE Chapter.

Watts announces sales award winners
RepMasters, of Denver, has been named Watts Representative of the Year and winner of The Golden Regulator Award for driving significant sales growth during the 2020 pandemic year. RepMasters has been a Watts authorized sales representative since 2016, and earlier it represented Watts’ FEBCO brand. It represents Watts in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.

Peter and Chris Brown of Walmar Mechanical Sales, based in Nepean, Ontario, received the Watts Lifetime Achievement Award. Both have worked to help build a backflow program in conjunction with the city of Ottawa, among other achievements. Walmar has been a Watts authorized sales representative for three generations.

John Guest celebrating 60 years in 2021
John Guest, part of the RWC family of brands, turns 60 in 2021. Over the years, John Guest’s push-fit plumbing products have paved the way for better drink dispensing, water filtration, air and pneumatics, telecoms, automotive and OEM solutions.

Oatey hires Christine Graham as new CIO
Oatey announced that Christine Graham joined the organization as senior vice president and chief information officer. She comes to Oatey from MTD Products, where she served as IT director, working with business partners to develop and deliver on technology roadmaps.

Laars names Rich Simons senior VP and general manager
Bradford White named Rich Simons senior vice president and general manager of subsidiary Laars Heating Systems. Simons, a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business, joined Laars in 2016.
