It also helps improve liquid flow through the leachfield where ponding/failure events are occurring. 819/598-7153;

Franklin Electric Inline 400
The Inline 400 Pressure Boosting System from Franklin Electric couples a pump and motor with simple flow-based controls to provide a typical water pressure boost of up to 40 psi, depending on the application’s need. The unit’s symmetrical design allows for easy installation mounting either vertically or horizontally to fit within most existing plumbing configurations — including those where space is limited. This system is ideal for city water pressure boosting, pressurizing water from a cistern tank, re-pressurizing after filtration and irrigation system boosting applications. Available in 115- and 230-volt models, it has a product rating of 1/3 hp, a 1-inch NPT inlet and outlet, and is powered via a standard electrical cord. Integrated pump protection guards against over/under voltage, dry run and over temperature. The electronics in the unit include two pressure switches that monitor and reduce the chance of overpressuring the system. A flow switch ensures that it only runs when needed for maximum efficiency. 800/701-7894;

Goulds Water Technology CentriPro Oil Smart Switch and Alarm Kit
The CentriPro Oil Smart Switch and Alarm Kit from Goulds Water Technology – a xylem brand, helps commercial, industrial and residences with elevators reduce downtime and eliminate the risk of expensive cleanup costs. The kit, when combined with a submersible pump, enables water to be removed from elevator sumps, leachate wells and transformer vaults without the danger of pumping oil into sewers and waterways. Elevator sumps can collect water and oil from the elevator machinery. Probes in the Liquid Smart sensor detect the differences between oil and water, and stop the pump when oil is detected. An alarm is then triggered so the oil can be recognized and disposed of properly, ensuring environmental protection from hazardous waste. The panel and switch can be kitted with effluent single-phase pumps, and is completely encapsulated and watertight to safeguard against leaking and water damage. 866/325-4210;
